Nancy Forsythe

I remember all the good times hanging out with Nancy and there were many! I think about Nancy often. Hanging out with my old friends Melissa Stehl and Danny Krauss. I remember hooking Nancy up With my best friend Brian Link.We had alot of good memories hanging out in Sayville together!I first met Nancy in the 7th grade and man did I think this chick was hot!In her levi's overalls and her Farrah Forset hairdo. There was a big gang of us that did every together, from hanging out up town behind the movie theater,Sayville pizza,7-Eleven,on the bleacher's at the high school to cruising out East or just hanging out at Melissa,s house (I will alway,s remeber Nancy!)Nancy you are missed. Your friend, Eddie Davies --Eddie Davies

Nancy Forsythe (2-23-93)

I am sure if I shared all the memories I had with Nancy I could fill a book. Nancy was with out a doubt one of the best people I had the pleasure to have as a part of my life. My parents even thought of her as their 4th daughter especially since we spent so much time together. When the two of us would go out together people often asked if we were sisters and we would just laugh and say yes. Nancy was always there for me and everybody else for that matter. The best thing about her was that she did not hold back and told you exactly what was on her mind - sometimes it was hard to hear but, when it came down to it I knew it was because she cared. Nancy not only cared so much about her friends and family but also about people she hardly knew - after we graduated Nancy put herself through nursing school and became a registered nurse just so she could help other people because she had such a huge heart. When she first started her nursing career she was doing home nursing and before her death she was working at a hospital in Nassau where she took care of babies that were born premature. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about or miss Nancy. Nan died two weeks after my middle daughter was born, and was going to be her Godmother - unfortunately she never even got to see her. Alcia often says that Aunt Nancy is her God Angel and is watching over all of us. --Melissa Meyer

Erik Huml (Too soon)

Erik was a friend of mine since kindergarden.I think I speak for all of us who grew up in West sayville (The Cherry Ave Elementery gang)That we felt a piece of us was missing from the reunion "Because Erik passed on."He was there in spirit.I hung out with Erik all the way through high school. We even chased after the same girl (Julie).Lucky for me he was a gentle giant from Viking descent, because he caught me with Julie once, when she happened to be his girlfriend @ the time.Needless to say ,he spaired me.Thanx for the memories Erik, see ya @ the next reunion. The ED --The ED

John Pappas (18th Birthday)

When I think back to the night that John passed,I remember what a shock it was to hear of his tragic death.John was hanging out with a bunch of friends celebrating his 18th Birthday. He celebrated a little too much that night. He was dared to go swimming between the Ghetties,he could'nt swim that well & drowned.John was proboly the nicest kid you would of ever known.he kept to himself, did'nt have an enemy in the world & everyone liked him!John will be 18 forever."Here's to you John" (ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG).Your friend,Eddie Davies --Eddie Davies

Erik Huml (4/2/97)

Thank you for remembering Erik in your memorial. He was not only my brother, but also my best friend. He was very fond of Sayville and had many cool friends and good-times there. The memories I have of Erik continue to inspire and make me laugh. I miss you Erik. Love Scott --Scott Huml

erik huml

i will never forget erik he was a kind loving person. yes eddie he did spare your life a couple of times. a gentle giant describes him perfectly. i will never foget one night hanging in eriks truck in front of 7-11. erik went in to get somthing to eat and on the way out he thought it would be fun to step on ketchup packets and squirt them on the outside wall. laughing as we always did together, some tough guy was caught in the cross fire and ketchup coverd the sleeve of his shirt. erik appologized numerously, tried to help him clean of his shirt, he couldnt of been more sincere.well mistaking eriks gentle nature for what he described as being a wuss he decided to push erik against the wall. erik pleeded with the guy please dont do this i dont want to fight im really sorry, well as the guy continued to push erik around it left him no other choice but to defend himself. it took erik about a second the not so tough guy anymore got up from the ground bloody and took off like a scared cat. gentle erik was, weak he wasnt.erik and i have countless hysterical memories together and i was lucky enough to spend eight years of my life with him.erik you will always own a peice of my heart.love julie --julie

Diana Roderka

I am sad to hear that Diana has passed at such a young age. I understand she has left 2 teenage children behind, which makes me even sadder. We met in Junior High, and I remember hanging out at lunch with her. She was quiet, and uncertain of herself sometimes. But very sweet and nice. She had a good sense of humor, and we laughed at the way that people could be sometimes, especially kids in Jr. High. I regret that I will not get the chance to see what kind of an adult she turned out to be. --Joanne Coleman

Diana Roderka (2005)

Diana and I were friends growing up, and she later became my niece's stepmother. I knew her as a forthright and sincere person, who loved her children and her family very much. Far too early she left behind two beautiful children, a husband who cared deeply for her, and a stepdaughter who wished she had more time to know her better. I write this for you, Randi, and for Matt and Chrissie. I am so sorry for your loss. Much love to you all, Aunt Steph. --Stephanie Spaulding

Erik Huml

Buttered rolls and coffee at Sayville 7-11 before class. I too remember the Cherry ave gang. A good man I will always remember you Erik. --James Sheridan
